私達の教室では、卒論生や院生の学生さんがそれぞれ（誰も手掛けたことのない）新しい分析法や分析装置の開発にチャレンジしています。事前の予想の斜め上を行くこともしばしばですが、最後は必ず面白いものを作ってくれるので、年甲斐もなくワクワクさせられます。若人たちに望むことはただ一つ、自らの考えや発想が（多少なりとも）具体的な形を取る時の「手応え」を、今のうちに何度も何度も体験して欲しいと願っています。
